As long as I live, I’ll hear waterfalls and birds and winds sing. I’ll interpret the rocks, learn the language of flood, storm, and the avalanche. I’ll acquaint myself with the glaciers and wild gardens, and get as near the heart of the world as I can.”
Well among all the nature's wonders if Im fascinated, in-fact obsessed with one-thing in my life is the Waterfalls... Among any trip I plan I always liked to visit a waterfall near by and a water fall trip is the first preference I always give in travel..
May keep asking me every waterfall has the same water and what makes it great to cover each one of them but what they don't know is there are so many varieties of waterfalls listed below as type
- Plunge: Water descends vertically, losing contact with the bedrock surface.
- Horsetail: Descending water maintains some contact with bedrock.
- Cataract: A large, powerful waterfall.
- Multi-step: A series of waterfalls one after another of roughly the same size each with its own sunken plunge pool.
- Block: Water descends from a relatively wide stream or river.
- Cascade: Water descends a series of rock steps.
- Segmented: Distinctly separate flows of water form as it descends.
- Tiered: Water drops in a series of distinct steps or falls.
- Punchbowl: Water descends in a constricted form and then spreads out in a wider pool.
- Fan: Water spreads horizontally as it descends while remaining in contact with bedrock.
There is so much of beauty in every waterfalls, the way they look, they reflect light, the gush, the pool it forms, the path it takes, the path we take to access it, the toads and frogs in it etc. I just consider waterfalls to be an inspiration as its flows so hard it takes out all the stress out of you and we should also live like a waterfall to gush and push all the negative things away..
Just combined few of the waterfalls I loved and clicked in my life in this thread...My search for waterfalls will continue till I breath my last oxygen...
